Sculpting question ( HOODS)...........

Hey guys, I came across a stump that I can't seem to figure out. I don't know how to sculpt hoods? How do you lay the apoxie on top of the head? Do I just put one lump of sculpt on the head? I tried to do that and it turned out strange. I was wondering if there was a technique that anyone knew that would make sculpting hoods easier? Thanks!

You can also put saran wrap on the head ( a little heat and it shrinks to fit ) then sculpt on top. Though the tin foil would strengthen the hood, if you went that route.

Why didn't I think of that lol, gonna try seran wrap, it seems like a cleaner process maybe, but when you said that the tin foil would strengthen the hood, what did you mean by that?

Make an armature with foil in the shape of the hood, sculpt on top of that. Then just peel off the foil once the apoxie hardens.

Like, just get a some foil and shape it into a similar shape of the actual head, then sculpt on top of the ball of foil? Or do you mean putting foil ontop of the actual head, sculpt on top of that then peel the foil after? Thanks man.
