Molding and Casting Supplies

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hello to all. I am new here. I have come across this website in the past before but never signed up. I have been interested in custom figures for a very long time. I always just swap farts around and paint and sculpt here and there.
In short words, right now I am trying to find what supplies I need to start Molding my figure parts and have my own molds for pieces as well as what i need for casting.
Does anyone have a list of what supplies would be recommended for molding and casting marvel legend figures, or at least point me to a page in which i can see what is needed???? Please that would be very much appreciated. Thank you all.

To make the Molds, I would recommend the Illuseffects Studios silicone. It's worked better than anything else I've tried. Amazing Casting Resin is softer and what I use currently to make head casts. AllumiRes RC-3 is good for harder parts like torsos and Legs. And if you're building an entire figure from scratch, I would recommend using Revoltech or Figma Joints.

Fart swapping is one of my favorite pass times, especially if you have a big group of friends, makes it a lot more interesting

Check out on YouTube: Making of a Halo Figure 3D Models to Plastic Molds from McFarlane Toys. It's what gave me inspiration to move in the direction you're headed.
