So, I'm well on my way to work on my first customs. Those being Poison Ivy and Batzarro in the below pics.
Sculpting is done and pretty much moving on to the paint side of things now. I'm going by Jin Saotome's tutorials on this as he was one of my biggest inspirations for getting into this hobby. With that said, it doesn't mention in the tutorials how long I should wait in between coats. Should it be just dry to the touch or should I let a certain amount of time pass? I'm working with Testors Model Masters acrylics. Also, wondering if someone can tell me how well Citadel and Model Masters mix.
Lastly, where can I get good castings? Only place I know to find any are eBay and Casting Cave but can't find specific things I'm after, such as: BAF Rulk head, female Figma heads, and Danger Girl heads.
Usually you want to stay with the same brand when using colors just incase they aren't compatible with each other. Acrylics seems to me in most cases fine with each other though. Usually I wait about 10 minutes between each coating as acrylic dries pretty fast. 3 hours for it to dry really well.

I'm not sure about where to get castings other than eBay and Casting Cave, either, but might this suit your Rulk needs?
