Can I get a little help from the toy gurus?

Posted in Action Figure Chatter

Sup realmorinos? I need some help, again. lol. I want to make a Jak n Daxter figure of Jak's look from the Precursor Legacy. Looking to be about 6". I'm thinking that an anime/manga figure would work best as a base but I know nothing about manga toy lines. I started searching and there were so many titles I didn't know where to begin. Anyone have a suggestion? All opinions are welcome.

good call tim. it would be perfect if they would just make j&d figs just like them. I had the r&c figs in my hands in the store but didn't buy. I could maybe take the Edward head n put him on Ratchet's body, but we'll see. I never know what will work best until I start cutting n sculpting. thx for the input. :-)

Oh man don't I know it. A quick ebay search was a nice gut check. I have my feelers out for the kai version because the face looks more mature. But either way, ouch, not cheap. I don't even want to think about mistakes when I start the project with a base fig that spendy. I'll be using jedi reflexes and spidey senses to make it happen.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I have a few of the 7" NECA video game figures and as far as I can tell Edward Elric is about 7". I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about it. Especially since they are not cheap but I think I can make him work with my video game lineup. They are on a separate shelf from my MLs and DC figs. I was going to have Jak be a bit shorter than say, a Kratos or Altair since he is pretty elfy but as long as it's not one of the 9" figs I think it'll be aight. And when I pull the trigger on one I will ask for an exact measurement of the actual one being shipped just to be sure. Thanks again.

I guess no one else is very familiar with the manga stuff either. lol. No worries. I did some sifting and settled on Play Arts figs to make it happen.
