Thanks again for the feedback. I already sold this one and didn’t do nice photos so for my next one that I make for myself I’ll do some photos in a photo booth
I kinda like the texture left by the 3D printing in this case, it's like tool marks showing the chair was skillfully hewn from a solid hunk of rock or metal or something
Thanks for the feedback guys. I was painting them yesterday. Still not done but in terms of process...... I sketched out the symbols that are on the throne in powerpoint, created SVG's out of them and saved them for later.. Using the movie poster as a guide, I created a 3D model of the chair using Fusion 360 (Free Software). I measured the figure with a set of calipers and made a series of sketches. I then print them out, sand prime and paint them!
All in all I have about 50 hours into it. The cool thing is if I have a customer who asks for one I push print and and voilla the model is done about 12 hours later and then all I have to do is sand and paint or if it is for a customizer I sell them the printed model and they paint it themselves.
