For white, I like to use Testors Model Master Acryl Duck Egg Blue. It looks like white with just a tiny hint of blue to it, and goes on much smoother than straight white paint. I also use it as a primer when painting figures yellow or red.

I have to get my local automotive store (O'Reilys) to order it for me. You can see the Part Numbers here http://www.vhtpaint.com/specialty/vht-vinyl-dye

White Satin is SP943

That reminds me, I have an Ace (royal flush gang) I need to finish, I basically sprayed it entirely with VHT.

This is Satin White

This is a Sentry figure. As you can see, the blue needs white paint over it to cover it fully. VHT is a dye, so it's tough to turn dark colors into white.

Let's give credit where credit is due. I learned how to get the paint to actually stay on the figure after Nigntmare here responded to my question about the paint he used on the custom sent through the first secret exchange event. That's when I started using the VHT and it's worked out magically for me! Thanks Nightmare. Thunderstrike, If you are looking to see it in action check out the Phantom that Nightmare posted. I still have it proudly displayed in my collection case.

Spraying it is usually best, so find a spray paint that works for you. I do what LN wrote, VHT spray dye, followed by a quick coat of white to even out the color if needed.

It depends on what you prefer. Painting white is tough and sometimes irritating, but what has worked for me is this: Base VHT vinyl dye, and then airbrushing either Citadel or Model Masters white mixed with a drop or two of blue. You'll be able to see what that looks like whenever I post the Sorceress that I've been working on.
