Red Hood is one of my favourite characters to make customs of, I must've done at least 20 Red Hoods of various types. The MCU 10th anniversary Marvel Legends figures recently went on discount, and I picked up a Captain America and Crossbones set. I intended to use the unmasked Crossbones head to make a Punisher custom, since I've always thought that Frank Grillo would make a great Punisher. The results aren't great but I might post that eventually.
Anyway, the body that was left behind felt like it would make a good Red Hood. I removed the vest and took the arms from Daredevil. Used the jacket from a Black Series The Force Awakens Han Solo; not entirely happy with it because of its fit around the shoulders but I guess it'll do. Sculpted on the Bat-symbol, and also replaced the non-functional holster with a functioning cloth holster. I repainted the masked head from Crossbones - the problem was that the eyes underneath aren't even because of the scarring around the eyes, so I struggled to get the white portions looking even. Painted it all up. Thanks for looking!
Excellent Red Hood! I think it was a brilliant idea to use the Crossbones. The mask worked very well. Also, I do like the more snug fit of the Han Solo jacket on this figure. Another cool Red Hood to go along with the other great ones you've made. It would be nice to see how all of them line up together.
Thank you Ric! The arm holes of the jacket don't really fit the figure and it looks a bit awkward from the side, but I think it looks okay from the front. Yes, I should take a new Red Hood customs group photo soon!
