Garchomp is one of the coolest and most legitimately terrifying designs in the pokemon franchise, so I was excited when I was asked to make one. Landshark here was relatively easy to make from Tomy's Mewtwo figure, with fins and teeth made from craft foam and the rest of the sculpting made from apoxie. I was surprised that Mewtwo's eyes were in more or less the correct position for Garchomp's head after the resculpting I did (cutting into the face to make the mouth and re-purposing the ears to be the hammerhead shard fins) I thought of making the neck thicker but opted against it since that would only limit head movement and the poseability of the Mewtwo figure is part of its draw.
