Hey, guys ! I know, I know, this guy is far from being LOTR-movie-authentic. He‘s just a „quick filler“, while I’m waiting for an ordered base-figure, for the next, more movie-adäquate project. He was frankensteined of fodder-pieces, which I kept for years and turned back and forth in my hands a multiple times, without really knowing what to do with it. It was time to get them off the table. Let‘s say: he‘s one of the few Uruk hai, who could escape the battle of helms deep and also the wrath of the ents, in fangorn. Since Isengard was destroyed, he slapped through to Mordor, where he got tortured (for being a failure at Helms deep and being alive still) with poisonous substances (among other things), which caused the change of his skin-tone. Since he had survived even that, and therefore proven to be a die-hard, who can fight in another upcoming battle, he got a mordorian armor and new orders. 🤪 Recipe: I’ve sculpted that bald head years ago, for no particular project and had it lying around, ever since, already painted, in that unusual color (which was just a test). Added hair of another WWE-figure; sculpted the ears. Then I had that Gothmog-torso, which I cracked up and dremeled down its flipside, to keep just the chest-armor and the whole belt. Sculpted some details on it. It would have been obvious to repaint the head to match the typical colors of the base-figure (Uruk Hai-warrior), but since this whole custom would be a complete freestyle, I did the just the opposite. I‘ve sculpted a longer neck; dressed the body in faux-leather, with reptile pattern; some faux-fur around the shoulders and black linen. Added some modified shoulder-armor-pieces from Vakko, attached by faux-leather-straps with sculpted buckles. Removed the original forearm-guards, added one from the fodder-box; inserted two claws (cut from plastic) into the left hand. ...added little sculpy here and there... Cut a berserker-helmet into four pieces; fitted it to the head; resculpted the gaps; added the „rear spoiler“ Modified a berserker-sword... Done !
