In this Hell’s Belles contest, I thought to customize a belle that comes from hell (sort of) Magik/Darkchilde in Soul Armor. Illyana Rasputin, once the innocent child sister of X-man Colossus was kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Belasco and taken to his domain in Limbo to become his successor. Rescued by the X-men and almost home, until she was grabbed on the other side of the portal between Earth and Limbo by Belasco. During what seemed like seconds to the X-men at that moment was seven years to Illyana in which she became a student of the dark arts. Now a nubile teenage girl on Earth, Illyana was found to have the mutant ability of teleportation and because of this she eventually became a New Mutant under the code name Magik. At some point she defeated Belasco and became ruler of Limbo with the power of her Soul Sword. As ruler of the hellish Limbo, she would under fits of anger become Darkchilde in where she would take a demonic appearance that would reflect her mood. Little by little, the Darkchilde persona was taking over the innocent girl she was and during the Inferno event in which she was responsible for, she made amends by relinquishing the power and throne of Limbo with the help of her teammates and became a normal seven-year-old girl once again.
This custom was made from ML Wasp body, Planet Terror nurse head (Magik head), Dark Alliance Purgatory head (Darkchilde head), and other figure odds & ends.
Customizer side note: For this custom I thought to use 1 body, two heads, and two pairs of mid legs to try to get two figures out of one body. Comic wise, I know that most time during a Darkchilde transformation, Magik usually gets goat-like devil legs, but that is not the case in her soul armor mid-transformation Darkchilde state (as seen in comic picture). For fun I also threw in two soul swords and teleportation circle as nifty accessories.
