I thought about making the Rose for a while now, but I always put it off for three reasons: I didn't know how best to give him the glasses, I didn't have a rose for his lapel, and I did not want to paint all of that white, one of the my least favorite colors to paint.

Fortunately Jawares created their recent super-articulated Wildcard figure!

Recipe:
Head: Union Jack (Endgame Hulk Series)
Body: Wildcard (by Jawares)
Rose: Sculpt
Glasses: eBay (I searched for 1/12 glasses)
Gun: I dunno (I'd wager some old ToyBiz or Kenner figure)

I gave the tie and gloves a teal repaint and painted the mask and neck lilac. The rose I sculpted with Milliput (this was harder than it sounds) and I then painted it red before supergluing it to his lapel. I painted his shoes all white. I also hard to fill the peghole for his head in with Milliput as it was originally too loose on the WIldcard body.

The glasses I got from eBay by searching "1/12 eye glasses" or something to that effect. They're really cool, as they have lenses in them. It's nice that they're removable, because then it can be the Jacob Conover Rose (the third guy to take up the mantle). The gun I had with Boxers pool, but I think it works better with Richard Fisk here.

This was a simple, yet fun custom. I love adding some of the more obscure Spidey bad guys to my collection, and the Rose is no different.
