A ways back, I did a handful of figures that were meant to be Batman characters designed as if there were in a Christopher Nolan movie-I.e. more realistic and real world grounded. Namely I was trying to make the characters look more like how they would if they existed in 'our world'. I had a fun time with and it and I have been dying to try some out again. For this round, I decided to do the Bat family, in this case, with Nightwing here.

Original figure was a GI Joe movie Ripcord with a 12 inch Max Steel head (it just screamed Dick Grayson). I kept the original figure clothes and armor, but did tweak them a bit with repainted and sewing the clothes a tad-the idea was more tactical than spandex. The head itself was also repainted, namely for the mask. Escrima sticks were from the fodder bin and the birdarangs were 3D printed and then painted.
