Hi everyone! Renmauzo here with custom no. 15; Hayato from my MvC2 set! I am really proud of this one, and it's been on my desk unfinished for months, so I decided to finish him up over the last few days and I think he turned out great! To start, I took a page out of Kyle's book by using an ML Moonknight for the base and a Sota Fei Long head. The head guard and hair was sculpt while the spike was a wooden skewer and the straps were fodder. The shirt and ripped knee were fully sculpted (I found a great way to do the rips easily and believably) and the guards on the boots were fully sculpted as well as the ones on the hands and wrists. The copper belt was taken from the Jonah Hex fig I used for Rolento, and the silver belt from the original fig, just dremmeled and re-sculpted.
The plasma sword was made from the combination of a hollowed out gun scope and a WD-40 spray nozzle. Fodder and sculpt were used for the rest and part of a DC Direct Wonder Woman lasso for the cord. After a very careful and painstaking paintjob, (I still don't have an airbrush, so these customs are still all done by hand) I finished what I believe to be one of the best customs I have done, next to my MvC2 Jin Saotome. I hope that you all like Hayato, and I will bring all of you more great stuff very soon, including one that I don't think anyone's attempted but will be very popular!
