I was a little unsure about the Mcfarlane Dc Multiverse line when I first saw it and watching early youtube reviews didn’t make me anymore excited. But I decided that I needed to see for myself and once I got them in hand I was hooked! Great sculpts and now I’m used to the articulation I kind of wish Marvel legends would adopt some of it. The only thing which really hurt the ‘Batman Detective comics #1000’ figure was the size head - but thankfully it was an easy fix. I made a resin cast of a DC Direct Elseworlds JSA “THE LIBERTY FILES’ Batman head - I brought the figure years back when it first came out, I love the look of it but always felt desperately disappointed with the articulation so I lost interest in it pretty quickly - but now, finally I could enjoy at least part of it. Although the googles do come off I really like the look so I choose to keep them. Looking at the ‘Robert Pattinson’ new Batman costume the helmet is a bit similar. I feel the head is now much more in scale and thankfully it fitted perfectly onto the body. I’ve really loved what fellow realmer ‘Shinigami’ as been doing with these figures - their work has really brought out how good these figures are! Thanks guys for putting out amazing work which keeps me inspired to keep on customising! ![]() |
