The head is v2 odious from @unparalleled_universe, mates to a Thor body. I loved the proportions with the beefy arms and long legs.
I cut the lower arms off, mid forearm, and shaped them into pegs that would fit onto the toybiz Sasquatch lower arms. Then I made a cast of the lower 1/2 of mezco king Kong’s lower legs. I made a cast of that because I wanted to use his feet without obstacles, and I felt the hairy legs would fit the aesthetic much better, as they are much thicker.
I did a similar process to Thor’s lower legs, where I cut them of, and made them into pegs to fit those monkey legs.I later changed that up, and they both now have double ball peg, and receivers, so everything is a nice fit. After all that, the sculpting started, and there is plenty.
First I had to work out a method that would be uniform all over, and also look like short fur, Matted down in places. The fur is all green stuff putty, several sessions worth. There is sculpt work on the lower legs, upper and lower Thor arms, and all of those torso is sculpted, including the armor over the chest and straps.
For paint, I wanted his colors to look like fall, the season. And some nice royal teal to accent it made my dude complete!
