Here is another alternative WW2 custom-I have made some Allied heroes in the past so I thought it was about time I did some Nazi enemies.

I've always loved Hellboy and I really like the Kriegaffe in the comics so I thought I'd make my own to fit in with my customs unlike the figure that it done in the style of Mike Mignola(and is impossible to find!!!!!!!)

My inspiration for a lot of these customs comes from the huge range of alternative WW2 wargames-I don't play them but I do like some of the ideas and characters. The allies seem to have go down the route of robots and super heroes whereas the Nazis go for the occult and fantasty creatures such as the Kriegaffe, vampires and werewolves-it is my plan to depict some of these in future customs

I've been planning this for a while but I lost interest for a bit so Kreigaffe has been hanging around my workbench for a couple of months or so now until I found an old Doc Ock figure and decided to make a controller for the ape.

Kerigaffe recipe: DCD Justice Gorilla Grodd, cut off the legs at the knees and replaced with Robotic Hulk legs and feet, cut off his hand and mounted a gun from my spares-think it was a gun from an old Spawn figure. the chain is from the BAF Pitt figure and a few bits and bobs from my spares and there you have it-my Kreigaffe. I didn't paint him I was too lazy all I did was add some bits of colour to the mechanical fittings on the ape and painted his eyes all white.

The Controller recipe: real easy one this! took off Doc Ocks mech arms(in fact I used bits of them on the Kreigaffe) took off his glasses and replaced them with one from the Johnny Depp Sleepy Hollow figure, made a belt and backpack from some spares, added a radio control made from scrap bits and wire,a quick paint job using Vallejo WW2 German Fieldgrey for an authentic german uniform colour and painted the boots and hands-in fact the swastikas took the longest-they are still not perfect but they will do for me.

Anyhoo thanks for looking and as always feedback and questions are welcome
