Here is my latest custom-Lobo. I've wanted to do a Lobo figure for years now and I can't afford to pay the prices for the Mattel Convention figure-and I also saw that he is really tall-and I know Lobo is a big guy but I didn't think he was that much bigger that any other Super Hero and that also kinda put me off it too.I had bought the DC reactivated Lobo a while ago just to have a Lobo figure but he didn't seem to capture the characters manic physique or attitude plus he wasn't articulated enough for me and in my opinion he is too small!

So having picked up a few cheap LCBH figs I was scratching my head as to what to do with Dragon- Huge arms and skinny legs he didn't really fit in with any of my current customs projects......until I re-read my Lobo comics.

I have always been a big fan of Bisley ever since his first work in 2000ad and Dragon really fit the bill. The over muscled arms with the veins popping out were just like the comic but I still thought his legs were too skinny so I swapped them for ML Power Man and then added LCBH Judge Dredd's boots.

The Jacket is made from ML Dracula's coat cut down and plasticard and the top of Dracula's cape for the collars. The belt is from Batman and I found a skull to stick on as the belt buckle. The knee pads and gutting hook are from the reactivated Lobo the gun I think was from an old Spawn figure with an added strap from my spares.

Lobo's hair is made from ML Bishop for the bulk of it and some bits and bobs from LCBH Ripclaw. My only reservation with the figure is his face sculpt-in a lot of the comics Lobo is grinning ,snarling or has his mouth open so to get around this I made him a great big cigar to plonk in his mouth.

The knife is one I made up using bits from my scraps-the blade is one of Wolverine's claws and the skull on the hilt of the blade is from some Games Workshop scale figs. The goggles are from Graphitti's Madman figure. The chain and cross are made from a spare bit of chain and a plasitcard cross.

The patch on the back of his jacket is taken from the cover of "Lobo-portraits of a Bastich" comic

It wasn't until I had made him that I looked on here to discover that in the past lots of people have used the same base figure! D'oh!!! Great minds think alike!!!

Anyhoo I think he now looks like a Bisley style Lobo and he looks good with my other figures.

Hope yopu like him-comments always welcomed and yhanks for looking
