The core of this figure is largely the same as my previous johnny, with much improved sculpt, added accessories, and my first attempt at a diorama. Calling it 'ultimate' johnny as a nod to necas ultimate lines featuring additional accessories and swappable heads. Way back, johnny was my first real attempt at sculpting, with little experience and an unforgiving material. While I never grew to dislike it, I did see what could have been done better, and now it has been. I smoothed out the shape and surface texture of the head, sculpted a new swappable 'manic' head to counter the original 'depressive' head. Both the sculpt and hair of this head would have been unachievable for me the first time around. The hands and boots both have had their sculpt quality improved and the torso has been made thinner than before and has wrinkles added at the bottom. On to accessories, we have the knives, sculpted and cast this time around, The doughboys, who play host to manic and depressive voices in his head, both sculpted from the ground up, and nail bunny, the last remnant of johnnys conscience, also sculpted and cast. I had thought of updating this for some time and finally recieved the proverbial 'spur' to do it in the form of a request. This individual has since failed to return messages but no worries, im glad to have done the project. I hope to give this treatment to devi as well to replace the last abomination (don't look at it, I beg you) no figure I wish more I could delete from the record.
