Took the red hulk series black spidey, put on ml deadpool's head, harness, and hands. dremeled the sheaths to allow for longer, not so stubby swords. added rubber bands for neck straps, thigh strap, and cuffs. a piece of union jack's holster for the sai sheath. full on paint job with clear coat. now the new fun part, metal swords!!! went to hobby lobby by the model train section and they had packs of metal strips for like $2, they're 1/32x1/8 flat bar that's 12in long and come 4 to a pack. perfect for ML size swords! then I took ronin's nunchucks and dremeled out a notch in them, then cut the metal strips to the same length, the cut the pointy edge, then took my dremel with fine sanding bit held between my knees, and started actually sharpening the blades. so yes they are deadly! add a couple little washers and some chrome paint, and voila! metal swords for deadpool. and yes I know people are gonna be like, oh no another deadpool, well I sold ALL of my other one's so this is for my own collection. I have made several different katana's all in the same length as these, so if you're interested in some, pm me. and this is my last custom of 2008, I ship out to basic training on monday, so no more til maybe feb/mar whenever I finish that and tech school. thanks!
