This is a scratch-built model of the supersubmarine Gotengo from the 1963 Japanese movie "Atragon" ("Kaitei Gunkan"). The Gotengo is 11,7 cm long (4,7"). The base is a pen, as seen in the pictures below. Then some cardboard, plastic, modelling clay, computer wires for the main 3-gun cannons, bristles from brush for the antennas and a cogwheel from a correction tape roller for the front buzz saws. Most challenging were the tiny antennas and tiny main cannons.
