I've been wanting to do Jinsei Shinzaki for a long time, so here we go. A lot of work went in to this figure. The torso was sculpted over for a more natural look, the gauntlets were completely sculpted as well as the belt, lower legs and tabi shoes. The arms were sanded WAY down to look thinner and the face was about 90% re-sculpted. The back of the head had to be modified to make up for the small size of the original time and the neck was tinkered with to flow in to the torso. The belt straps are pieces of rubber from some sort of Star Wars robe, cut and sanded down and they are movable so that they don't obstruct the leg articulation. The entire figure was repainted by hand, including the logos on the pants. ![]() |
I tried my best to duplicate the kanji on the right leg, but the left leg is a form of Sanskrit, so good luck reading it as Hiragana. Hahaha. Nice of you to notice.
If you want reference pictures (there?s a few extra pics as well)
If you want to see it as a work in progress .
Thanks again for the reply.
