My favourite Mad Max picture is, without any doubt, Mad Max 2. For this custom Max Rockatansky I started from a McFarlane 7” Negan figure, took the right arm and the head off. I resculpted part of the chest, as Gibson’s leather jacket is slightly different. I resculpted the left leg as well with green stuff, to add the metal parts. The head is from an ebay seller and is 1/12 unpainted: I added a ball joint inside it to allow movement. I added a lot of accessories to this figure, such as the right shoulder pad, the back pad, the binoculars (which are detachable - I used green stuff to model them), the wrench (from ebay), some belts (green stuff), the gun holdster and a knife on the right leg. Dog (which was an unavoidable choice) was completely repainted on an already existing figure. Green stuff, citadel acrylic colors and a matte spray finish were used in the process. I used some real red tissue for Max’s and the dog bandanas.
