I came across this character while researching my Bucky Captain America and loved the crimson costume design. Reading up I found out she's the daughter of none other than the red Skull and partner in crime with Crossbones so thought I'd take a crack a her now he's been released! Sculpted the corset, boots, hair and straps on the arms and legs. The head is Wasp and I used the finest brush possible for the freckles. Used an XMC Beast belt and Baron Zemo gun. Like Variable Penguin I couldn't find a way to sculpt the throwing knives so left them as holsters only. The skull was the final touch from Mystiques skirt. Please wait... |

Great work and nice idea of doing her (I mean, having her as the custom!)
For very fine dots you might want to try spraying a tiny amount of paint from a toothbrush. I know you've done this is the past for star effects, but I think it might work well here too. You could use tinfoil to mask the face where you don't want the paint to land. Tinfoil is great for this as it molds to the shape of the sculpt. You can also use the flesh tone to take away any rogue freckles that the mask doesn't block.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I've tried to use fine pens like Sharpies before Doc but don't seem to get as fine point on them is there a brand you'd recommend?
I think the sculpting could be a little sharper, but still cool. Hair looks good.
Oh, and don't even bother using the brush for tiny things, get some ultra fine pens or markers instead.
