It's September and as far as I'm concerned, spoopy season has begun.
Today I have a 1978 Halloween Michael Myers head update. The 2018 Neca figure is beautiful but for whatever reason, the company has yet to put out a figure representing the original film's iconic look. Likenesses occasionally get in the way as I understand it, but that didn't satisfy me.
I lightly sanded the 2018 head, smoothing out its wrinkled texture. Then, I sculpted some minor details before repainting. Oh, and I molded the head and made five casts, all drilled and fitted for the Neca figure.
Thank you man! The sanding was an experience for sure. I didn't start off with a great set of photo skills, but I started teaching high school photo, and here we are today!
Great Job!! That sanding had to be a pain in the butt that sculpt has wrinkles galore! It definitely looks much more like the original Kirk mask with the work you did!! Also you have a great eye for photography the pix for your figures look awesome.
