So, I since I was making a lot of classic Silver/Bronze Age Smallville characters, I figured that I should do one of Pa Kent himself, good old Jonathan.

To do Jonathan, I got a hold of a DC Universe Classics Sandman figure and used the boil and pop method to remove his head and hands. Additionally, I cut off the jacket and cape (they were damaged already, so no big loss). Next, I took a broken Movie Masters Dark Knight Trilogy Alfred Pennyworth and removed the hands and head and attached them to the Sandman body (I also took the jacket from the Alfred and repainted that with Testors Model Masters Ogre Green, followed by two generous coats of Flat Clear to more closely match the green of the arms and lower body...the tie is the original one from the Sandman, just repainted with Testors Acryl Bright Blue, followed by two generous coats of Flat Clear). Next, I repainted the shoes with Testors Model Masters Flat Black, followed by two generous coats of Flat Clear. Lastly, I glued a pair of glasses onto his head from a Mattel DC Superheroes Clark Kent, and TA-DA...Jonathan Kent himself!!!
