Been wanting to add a classic Swordsman into the Avengers display for a while. Hasbro is giving us some older/classic figures lately. I really thought Swordsman would have been in a recent avengers wave.... but I guess I will just make him myself.

Recipe : I saw someone else start with the Wonder Man figure for the base because he has the right arm bands but needed some of those classic gloves and boots. I borrowed those from the Secret War Captain America as well as the SW Cap head sculpt. After arm swapping at the elbow, I had to paint skin tone to match arms. Added the waste kilt/thingy from the Red Hand Ninja. Sword sheath from fodder. Maverick cross strap chest piece. Found some old Wolverine fodder shoulder pads and glued them on. Added a trigger hand that has the front to back swivel so the sword could articulate pointing forward.

First time sculpting a mustache and I wanted it to stand out. Also had to sculpt the hawk fin on top of his head. Painted with Citadel "xereus" purple and citadel "screamer" pink. Also used a gold paint for the belt and cross chest strap.

Pretty pleased with how he came out and glad this recipe worked well. Nice to add another old classic to the display. Thanks for looking !
