This is one the best Iron Man figures Hasbro ever made, however the paint on comic Iron Men is lacking compared to the Toy Biz days. Since these were on clearance last year I picked up two and painted one more accurate to the classic.
It's Macaroni Yellow acrylic paint, and clear coat acrylic all applied by hand. The joints on this particulate figures make it very hard to keep the paint from chipping off during posing. I've had to apply multiple coats.
I prefer this color much better than the gold. The gold should've been re-released and yellow as the main. Hopefully they release the yellow soon. And maybe do the 80th ironman treatment, with over 10+ use of that buck 🤦🏻♂️
