My genius buddy Chuck Hatfield and I started making these figures about six months ago. He is simply wonderful at creating the most evocative head sculpts, and the clothes/accessories we scrounged, or sometimes created from scratch. I love taking it all the way by doing the blister card design and photography. We had so much fun we’re in the process of completing SERIES 2 with Removable-Hat Kolchak, Mr. R.I.N.G., Père Malfait, Aztec Mummy, and Ron “Uptight” Updyke. Can a third series be in our future? We’re both so obsessive, I think the answer is probably Yes. Maybe every custom should be a body of work?! xo
