A long time collector friend of mine contacted me and requested a custom Batvault for the (supposedly) upcoming Mezco 89 Batman. Due to my love of all things Batman 89 - I couldn't resist. Shades of Black cheap craft shop acrylic
Some Black, some modpodge, some metallic black and a little light dry brush with silver. Add a touch of gloss to detail some wet rocks...
Batvault begins
Base material- A beats headphone box. Nice sturdy cardboard that takes an exacto cut really well. Drew out the details.
The Batcave wall
My first experience with pink foam. Loved the results. It wont be my last.
Add a Batman for scale
Now if only that pesky Mezco Batman would ship...
Super pleased with this one, very inexpensive and serves the purpose. I am certain its new owner will love it for his own Batshelf.
