I was watching the TMNT episode of The Toys That Made Us on Netflix when I learned that the Playmates TMNT had the same designer as Masters of the Universe. "Man," I thought to myself, "It's too bad that scrawny Shredder couldn't have gotten some of those MOTU muscles, he might have looked more like the cartoon." And inspiration struck!

I bought a hard-head Shredder to use for this purpose, and I used a Tri-Klops for the body. All of the Shredder bits and cape come from the original figure, I wanted to use the belt as well but it's too small. I did have to build him a neck from Apoxie Sculpt which I hadn't planned on, and so the head doesn't turn. I was actually surprised after painting it that his headsculpt is not as bad as I remembered. I'm also thinking of using the the Shredder body with a He-Man head to make a scrawny Adam figure.

He's posing in my Technodrome with Krang, who also had a bit of paint to make him look more cartoon accurate.
