When the figure of the Flash in his makeshift Batsuit as seen in the movie The Flash was announced, lots of people immediately wanted to make a Batman Returns figure from that, and I Was no different. I used the upper torso and arms of that figure, and grafted it onto a NECA Batman '89 bootleg, also using parts of the NECA Batman '89 figure that was originally released in purple and blue, patterned after the video game. There was a lot of modifying and dremelling. I cut the abs armour off the Flash figure and glued it onto the lower torso of the NECA Batman figure. I cut the forearms off the Flash arms, then dremelled out the forearm attachment of the Batman gauntlets and attached them together. For the head, I used a cast of the head inside the cowl - I could have just used the whole head and cowl from the bootleg, but I had the purple and blue cowl left over from an earlier project and wanted to use that, so I combined it with a cast of the partial headsculpt inside. The cape was made from craft pleather, with a wire glued in between the two layers so it could be poseable. Painted it all up. Thanks for looking!
