So this one is mostly a paint job, I find the masterverse figures are a bit like a "Mcfarlane light" type, in that they have really nice sculpts that are bluntly painted. -Several coats of Blue Vallejo Wash for the body and it's creases -Black Primer on the armor bits. Then went over with Vallejo Royal purpleover the leather-like textured parts. -Vallejo Bone white on the bone parts -Vallejo Black Wash first and Army painter Brown wash on the little bones that form the harness. -Vallejo Dark Gun metal on all the metal parts. -Went over with a sponge dabbed with Citadel Doombull brown,XV-88 and Vallejo Dark gunmetal again for the rust effects. But I got to play around with the havoc staff since it had such an ugly ball peg that cheapened what is otherwise a great sculpt, and merged it with the broken version of Evil Lyn's staff. Sawed off a part of the havoc staff which had already a narrow hole and drilled it bigger enough that I could insert Lyn's staff. Ram head: Vallejo bone white base. Black and brown wash afterwards. Abaddon black on the sockets. Green Stuff World Fluorescent red paint on the Cuneiform detail in the Ram skull. Basically, he's a sumerian Mumm-ra ![]() |

Yeah, I'm a sucker for gimmicks. I have a couple of figures I have yet to upload that use it.
