November and December are typically when things start to slow down for me. Every year, I consider closing up and taking a break for a couple months, but then I end up never actually doing it. Instead, I take on the work that does come in, I fix up some side projects, and I try out some random ideas and test new approaches. This year was not a good year for that. Still pretty busy, especially with my consistent monthly completed figure line ups. But here I still decided to try something random anyway. I've always liked Cloak and Dagger, but with them being officially released, and not insanely popular characters, I never really get to work on them. So, instead, I wanted to try something. And so here we have the first in a Cloak and Dagger series, and I'll talk more about the process as we go.
Upper torso and arms were from Gladiator. Head was from Cloak. Hood was resculpted lightly, and then I sculpted the entire cape and clasp. Full repaint, and all done!
Wouldn't have worked right for this version. This was based on his older design where his interior cape looked more ethereal and cosmic. Had a blue shade to it. Do have a full black variant coming up, though. Thanks for the compliment!
No way dude good idea I took a Luke Cage and put a Palpatine cloak on him was holding out til I found a suitable Dagger base and you unveil this man that soo awesome super dope dude 👍👍👍
