I got this wolverine figure for Christmas and I wanted to make him a jacket so this is how I did it. First I got some orange brown material and I sewed the jacket and it just fits the figure perfectly, then I covered the bottom of the jacket and the sleeves with masking tape and then I dyed the jacket a dark brown. Next after it dried I peeled of the masking tape and it left the pattern to match how he's jacket looks in the movies and that's it, I'm the best there is I what I do and what I do isn't very nice.
