Between all his successors and proteges, the only Pym identity I did not have represented on my Giant Man shelf was plain old Doctor Pym (which has been an "identity" he has gone by while actively working alongside the Avengers). I had dismissed it for the Giant Man shelf (that Giant Man is pretty definitively the main Hank, and I didn't want to fill the shelf out with Pyms because that's all it would have been otherwise).

However, around the same time I was working on the Giant Man shelf, I was refreshing my MCU collection. I'd had the Ant-Man 1 suit standing in for Hank (since he had worn it before Scott) but I'd never loved that, and had always meant to come back and figure something else out. I had originally dismissed his civilian attire since I prefer Superhero costumes on my Superheroes, but I liked the synergy of having MCU Hank using the one identity I didn't already have on my Giant Man shelf.

Found a head I liked on ebay, and started working on the body. I was considering using Mobius (I'm not a fan of the Loki body, it's got closer colors but it's too lean) but I thought I'd be cleaver and use the Egghead body, since it was on sale at the time and I thought I'd be ironic. I got it all painted up, was really happy with it... then the head arrived and it was a smidge too small (Egghead's on the larger Happy/Hammerhead buck, but the head was almost too small for the smaller suit body). D'oh!

So I went back to the drawing board. I had a spare Chameleon body I'd used for Hammerhead sitting around, so I transplanted the Egghead coat (I liked the idea of the duster like he'd had in Quantumania, plus it made the suit body look less lean) and repainted to match what I'd done before.
