I wasn't a fan of Dark Knight Rises. So, let's talk history instead. Way back in the day, this site was extremely hostile. Everyone was rushing to customs as a get rich quick scheme, and often attacking other creators to discourage them. One of my biggest criticisms was that I leaned more toward DC. This was directly post Avengers, and apparently Marvel is where everyone was supposed to be. lol But, I liked DC. I wasn't thinking career back then. It was my first year of selling. I just focused on what I liked. Blazing Skull was the first piece that made me think I could stick with this, but this version of Catwoman was my highest auction that really made me roll with DC customs. New 52, Injustice, and Man of Steel were the trifecta that followed, and I was off to the races. I stuck with it because I enjoyed it, and everyone who just wanted money burned out and disappeared. Remember. It's not about following the hot trends or even predicting them. It's about presenting yourself honestly to people and finding your audience.
Head was a 3D print from.....probably eBay. It's been a while. Feet were from Black Widow, recut into proper heels. Sculpted the belt, top of the boots, top of the gloves, and upper torso. From there, a full repaint, and all done!
Darn this site was really like that it's a shame people can be so wicked I'm so glad I found a small band of ninjas that comment on each others stuff big up to y'all y'all know who y'all are and Dravey I count yourself as one thanks
It really was sad, but thankfully it died out pretty hard. The stories from back then are insane. I was adding a few to the post at first before I decided to delete them and just stick to the basics. lol It's so much better now. We might have a lot less people posting, but everyone's nicer and way more supportive. Thanks for the compliment!
