After taking quite a sabbatical from the custom world, between moving and other crud in the life, I'm back with a vengeance. I didn't know much about his story but I took a look at the figure and see what I could do to make it "better".

I felt his size should be more overwhelming, so I started with a Sasquatch base. After a quick shave off Sasquatch's head, I re-sculpted the head using Fixit. I used the leftover hair plus the hairy "skirt" from Man Thing to create the rippling mossy hair going down his back. I also used the hands from the original Man Thing figure since I really liked all the articulation they gave his fingers. The branches that stuck out of the original figure became part of the base along with some extra Ghost Rider skulls I had laying around. A quick sculpt of some branch texture on his legs and arms, then paint and paint and paint. This sucker took a lot of paint but the overall effect is amazing. The pictures don't do it enough justice...which I'm glad I bought a new camera to help solve that problem.
