Yet another Deadpool. This one is loosely based on Deadpool from the Wolverine movie. I say "loosely" based because for one of the alternate heads I used the ML 2 pack Capt. America unmasked head. And I thought it looked a little like Ryan Reynolds. So there's the big connection. OK, the base is a Spiderman 3 New Goblin body. I was originally going to use this for a Sam Fisher custom. And then a Snake Eyes custom. But since there's so many Snake Eyes customs out there and not nearly enough Deadpools, I decided to even the odds ;) The first head, as I mentioned was a Capt. America unmasked head. I'm not completely sold on the hair and I may go back and repaint it. The second is the original New Goblin head, repainted with Deadpool's colors. It already fit on the huge ball joint, so I added it for something different. The third head is the masked Ronin head. Again, repainted in Deadpool's colors, but still different from the standard Deadpool mask. I cut the blades off of right forearm, but was still left with the straps. So rather than dremel them down and resculpt the forearm, I just decided to glue something where the blades used to be. I wanted some type of comunication/small computer-type thing. So I used the cell phone from the Heroes Noah Bennett figure. Too big to use as a standard cell phone for this figure. But perfect for a forearm-communication-computer-type thing. The pistol/holster came from a McFarlane military figure. The rifle came from a McFarlane Al Simmons figure. The shotgun came from a Neca Hitman figure. The sword and sheath came from a Sin City Miho figure with a different handle from the fodder bin. I attached a small peg to the sheath so it can be attached to the hole on the back of the figure or removed. Just wanted a Deadpool in something other than spandex.

Wow, strange. I was thinking you'd switched out the feet, arms, and pelvis from this figure in addition to the hands, until you mentioned the re-release versions.
Mine looks like the 2nd picture I posted rinky-dink size initial release. Similar, but with came with the Sandman's BAF Torso, and had single ball-joint arms, a very thin pelvis, and boots that don't have that armored look to them. I wish I'd held off and picked up the superior reissue. It looks like a great base figure.
It's strange that the rerelease was so very different from the original Hasbro Spider-Man 3 figures that we got in Canada. I only saw the 2008 version at a Comic store for a week, then they were gone.

It's not the Unleashed figure. It's a standard 6 inch sized figure. It was from the Spiderman 3 Marvel Legends series with the Sandman BAF. I think the New Goblin figure came with the Sandman head piece.

I figured out why your New Goblin figure looked nothing like the one I had (feet, build, etc.):
You're using a "Spider-Man 3 Unleashed 360 New Goblin", not one of the standard 5"-ish movie figures.
vs.
^_^ Good work on your custom though. If I ever some across a 360-version of the New Goblin, I'll have to make a rendition like yours.

Hey, thanks. This is the six inch, Marvel Legends scaled figure from the second set of Spiderman 3 figures that came out in either early 2008 or late 2007. Yeah I did change the hands. Forgot to mention it. They came from a Dark Knight Movie master thug figure. The legs are the originals, I just removed whatever was attached to his right thigh, been so long I can't remember what it was. I think maybe a pouch or something.

I absolutely LOVE this work! I think I have the same base figure in my fodder box, and might try something similar. Did you modify (part swap?) out his lower legs or hands though? They seem different somehow than the figure I have...
Also: Is this figure a little shorter than the typical 6" ML figures? I seem to remember all of the Spiderman 3 figures being 5 - 5.5", making them all look like teenagers or tall children next to anything else. Is this the case with your Deadpool?
