I'm back here to bring you another Power Ranger custom. I was in the the midst of doing a couple different customs but then I came across another green ranger figure and I dropped everything to do this MMPR Red Ranger custom.

Here is the parts list:

Head, torso, gloves, and boots - SLE MMPR Green Ranger
Arms, and legs - PR RPM Red Ranger
Gun - random 1994 MMPR figure
Sword - 13th Anniversary MMPR Red Ranger Collection figure

Apoxie sculpt, Fixit sculpt, a combination of models master and vellejo paints, white craft foam for the gun holster, and the ability not to self destruct when things go wrong.

I must admit I wasn't too impressed with the vallejo paint, but in it's defense it seems I have trouble with any red paint reguardless of brand, mabey it has something to do with the dye formula...anyway about the custom.

As I said before, this realm needs a better class of Ranger figure, and I am going to give it to them. What good is having a flock of ranger customs with out having America's original Red Ranger. If some of you want to consider him Jason, Rocky, or even the Japanese counterpart Geki, this figure is 100% awsome. He was very difficult to make because the limbs on this type of figure are made out of the same plactic as the torso. The paint scratched off to easy which is why I had to shell out some money and get a RPM Red Ranger figure so the red can match better in case of minor scratching. Resculpting the helmet was very challenging as well, especially the visor. I hope all you fans out there like this one... I did work hard on it. Enjoy:)
