I took a NECA Sheva and added some articulation in the elbows, and got rid of that horrible, horrible Hip articulation (unsightly and unpractical) of hers and gave her a new pelvis and hips. I gave her slightly bigger boobs and repainted the whole figure, except the tattoo, that would have been way out of my league, so I just matched her skin tone as best as I could. I altered her eyes slightly with sculpey and gave her thicker eyeshadow, I just thought the NECA head looked nothing like her, it still doesn't, but I like it a little better.
thanks guys!!! for the elbow articulation I used a movie mary janes elbows. I just cut below shevas armbands and above her forearm guards, hollowed them out a little, cut mj's arms to size, glued em in and matched sheva's skin tone. hardest part was matching the paint. hope that helps.
WOW! I almost bought one of these tonite but changed my mind, now I gotta get one but I gotta ask: how did you do the elbow articulation? I would ask how u did the *ahem* bewbs but I gotta pretty good idea. Anyhoo, really good job.
