I was looking thru TRU a few weeks ago and picked up a few of the Narnia Prince Caspian figures as they were going cheap. I was going to make a Minotaur Lord but decided to make a Warhammer Standard Bearer with this figure as it just loked the part. Everything was painted and drybrushed with Games Workshop paints and pastels. RECIPE Minotaur - As mentioned above the figure is from the Prince Caspian range, the figure was basically left as is except for the left horn which was cut to simulate battle damage. A nose ring was added using a small O-ring and leather skirts were added, the axe has been shortened and the top blade removed. Standard - The poles are made from balsa wood with model ship rope used to tie both sections together, the chains and O-rings are from a $2 shop and the skulls are from Hasbro's Indiana Jones Pitfall playset. The flag is from a old piece of material I had lying around my 4 yr old daughter helped me with the drawings it's a little to one side but I didn't have the heart to change it so I left it as is. Base - The base is a stand from a figure I had in the cupboard and plaster was used for the base then kitty litter and fine snad was added. It was then painted and static grass and shrubs were used. ![]() |
