ok well for this I saw the toy and felt an urge to at least try yo make it look cooler!, I cut off his head, carved into his face, tilted it down and reattached it, cut off his upper arm pistons, cleaned them up and reattached them, carved out along the clothes the give it more depth and realism, repainted him with my special metal recipe and boom, one slightly better looking tiny killing machine! enjoy!
it's almost like they scaled up the 3 3/4" for the rest of the toys, I was always under the impression it should be vice versa? as for the why not t600 plain endoskeleton I agree! I actually want the motorbike terminators! I think the best way to start accurizing? the t600's is to cut down the head, just slimming it down and making it not look like it it suffers from giant baby head syndrome. the bodies of the playmates terminators don't bug me as much but that the heads just makes me cringe. somehow the t700's and the t rips all look like they are the most angry robots in the universe and are using a 14 year old sculpt that they found in a warehouse closet....
True. I hope they make the other machines from the movie. I was wondering why there are no totally fleshless t600 figures. Then again I was also wondering why the totally fleshless head is way too bg for the body of the 6" figure. It looks like it should be a BAF part.
I like terminators but I'm thinking do I want to sacrifice another figure to bring these up to par.....I think I'll might just go for the giant 10" one and blitzkrieg it, making it super poseable and throw in some swap out parts.
Yeah. I'd have gone for Hasbro to make them but they've got a bug up their butts and seem to only want to make TF movie figures. The T-1 articulation isn't much better so I'm revamping it. The HK is nice since it doesn't need much articulation. Playmates were being stingy I think because the articulation on the Star Trek toys isn't any better, then again they've never really been known for their articulation.
at least they're good bases for customs and for parts for customs. Not as nice as a Neca or Mcfarland but do you really want to cut those up? lol. Looks really good. I was telling someone I swear these are just remakes of the Kenner figures as they have the same heads and torso articulation lol.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
