Damion Chaser was a Character I had thought up a couple of months ago, he was an interesting idea that I thought would make a neat action figure and so here comes an original idea (ostentatious originals)contest, a good enough time if any to make Damion Chaser: The Hellhunter.

Origin: The desire for evil lay in the hearts of all mankind and it is this desire that brings the demons to this plain of existence from the nine levels of hell. One such demon with three silver horns was summoned to an orphanage in the mid-west by a man of false kindness, this man ran the orphanage and sold not only his soul but also the souls and bodies of the children in his care. Until the arcane warrior, Adrian Chaser slew only the caretaker who at that point was more monster than man, freeing the children from their living nightmare. Coming from a long-line of Hellhunters, Adrian thought he had to this point seen it all, but the terrible experiments being conducted in the basement of that orphanage made him retract that thought. Experiments that had body parts of children and demons scattered all over and in 4 of 5 child sized test tubes, the reason for those experiments could be seen as someone had tried to fuse the innocents of a child with the evil of demons by grafting demon parts on to these small children of which only one had survived. This boy with a streak of crimson in his hair had a single scar that encompassed the length of his face, a disfigurement that was made to switch his born eye with that of a demon’s. The boy who was practically an infant also had right arm transferred with that of a demon. At that point Adrian had a choice, to kill the child that without love and compassion in his life would most likely become a full demon or let the child live and raise him as his own with the caring and nurturing that would allow the boy to grow up and be a force against the demons who had almost stolen his life from him. Adrian adopted the child and named him Damion. Knowing his demonic deformities would cause normal people to hate and shun him, Adrian used every piece of magical knowledge he possessed to make sure Damion grew up in a normal environment, well as normal an environment as could be had when your father hunts demons for a living. Growing into a young man, Damion under the tutelage and training of his father became a Hellhunter. Because of the demon blood in his veins, Damion was much stronger and magically fluent than normal human hunters. His demon right eye could see in the darkest of darkness and also perceive demonically possessed humans, his right arm which is sealed by a Tibetan Kurse absorbing mask allows Damion up to 30% of his arm’s full potential without fear of becoming overwhelmed by demonic power. On their fateful last mission together, both Adrian and Damion found themselves in the familiar situation that brought the two together in the first place. In the basement of a school, the two Hellhunters came face to face with a demon with three silver colored horns; a demon with the demeanor of a man, which the hunters knew meant that this demon was from one of the lowest levels of the nine hells making it very powerful. In the battle, the demon controlled Damion making him go berserk and seriously injure Adrian. As Adrian lay dying, the silver-horned demon left satisfied saying “that at least one of his experiments was showing promise”, released from silver horns influence Damion ran to Adrian’s side and in the time Adrian had left, he told his adopted son of the circumstances in which they came to be together, the secret that had just been revealed, and how proud he was of the man he became. Adrian’s death and the cause for his demonic nature were both caused by the same silver tri-horned demon. Now Damion had a face to go with his hatred as he traveled the world seeking silver horns, killing demons, vampires, and any other creatures of the dark worlds that would seek to harm humans. Mastering his demon side all the while, so when the day comes when he and silver horns came face to face again, he won’t fall under his influence and destroy the devil for the pain and anguish he has caused him.

Cerberus and Styx: A couple of hellhounds that were freed from illegal underground demon fights by Adrian and a young Damion. The young hounds took such a liking to Damion that Adrian did not dispose of them and instead had them become a part of their family. Now without Adrian, Cerberus and Styx have become Damion’s companions on his missions to destroy demons. Cerberus is a male hellhound from the 9th level of Hell, colored black and crimson like most males of his species, Cerberus can run at incredible speeds and breathes fire. Styx is a brown colored female hellhound also from the 9th level; Styx’s flesh which is almost like Cerberus’s except she can harden it to a steel-like consistency and she can also extend the bones on her back.

Weapons:
666 gauge Shotgun: Adrian’s one of a kind lifetime achievement that perfectly balances both technology and magic into the ideal weapon for killing monsters

Black Sabbath: A sword said to made from the remains of an ancient class SS demon, when the sword’s black blade taste blood it turns glowing red unlocking its true potential as a weapon.

Silver Blades: an array of pure Mytril silver blades, each with its own low-level enchantments.

Peace Maker: An axe forged in the fabled city of Atlantis and infused with magical runes.

Silver Pentagram: A handgun prototype of the 666-gauge shotgun, made of silver it absorbs demon essence and transforms it into force energy that can be discharged from the weapon.

Furvor Devil Gauntlets: Made from the bones of a lava furvor devil, possibly the most dense and hardest substance on earth and maybe the 9 Hells. The bones have been bonded to Mytril silver by magical means to create these gauntlets that weigh anywhere from 300 to 500 pounds.

Mercury Greaves: Ancient greaves said to be blessed by the gods, each greave has a jewel called the tears of Hermes imbedded on them and this allows the wearer of the greaves to move up to 3 times faster than they usually do.

Spirit Caller: An old voodoo trinket in the shape of a skull that chatters to allow the wearer to be aware of evil in the vicinity, a special incense can also be added that attracts low-level demonic creatures.
