Continuing my Intergalctic Bad@$$es series comes my first version or the Dark Lord of the Sith. Darth Vader. After I picked up the Dark Side Superman I knew I had to do something with him. So I set out on doing a Vader in this scale.As usual I added a little twist and turns and sometimes a complete 180. I completely painted the base black and added the different tones like Tin Bits ,Mithril Silver and Shining Gold.Then gave it a little Ardcoat on the armor for the shine. For the helmet I started with the x-3 Juggernaut and filled it in with Aves to give it a more visor look. I liked how the helmet was already worn in looking with the cracks.Sculpted the belt and lifesupport system,then added the centerpiece from a movie Iron Man. Drybrushed it Charcoal, added a cape and voila! I still have about two more versions of Vader planned but I had to get this one posted before Con. Origially I wanted him to have a more android look and I think this pull it off. Inspired a lot by the original Macquarrie drawing, Maxamilliun from "The Black Hole", The B.A.T.s from G.I. Joe and a whole lot more. Thanx for looking guys and let me know what ya think.
