The idea for this custom Wolverine was sparked by a couple black and red scheme Wolverine Customs that were submitted by others in the past. I always thought the yellow/black/blue for Wolverine's costume was a strange choice. The tan/brown/black I thought was even worse. I'm not sure what color real wolverines are but I'm sure it ain't yellow and blue.
Along with the black and red paint I took my first stab at steel claws. I had to do a bit of a repair job on the right claw covers with some Fixit Sculpt as my Dremel drill poked through the back. I ended up repainting the flesh on his arms as well - Citadel Dwarf Flesh base and then dry brushed Elf Flesh. Overall I'm very happy with the end result. Critique away!
