First off I want to apologize for yet another Bane. I never had any intention of making a Bane custom until I met someone on the trading post who wanted a Bane custom in exchange for some of his figures. I had a DCSH Bane and thought wow I can make my first piece for someone. I don't think my customs are good enough but I thought maybe someone will trade for a custom by me. So I checked the realm and saw some AWESOME Banes. I formulated the best recipe I could find and was excited to start. He had a change of heart but I decided to go on anyways and just make it for my collection. When I opened the DCSH Bane I was floored. The sculpt on his chest is AMAZING. I tried various ways to bring out all the detail in his chest and arms. I kept messing with it and finally it was a painted mess. So I used some solvent to clean off the paint and start fresh. But the solvent ate up all the veins and I was crushed. I panicked and posted I needed a Bane torso. No luck there so I bit the bullet and bought another Bane off the web. I am glad I did cause the Bane I purchased had a comic inside. The comic had Bane with a ripped mask and gave me an idea.
Since I had an extra head now I can make my very first variant head. So finally after weeks of torment I give you BANE!!! Comments and criticisms, both are greatly appreciated.

Recipe:
DCSH Bane head, torso put a ball joint in his neck for easy headswapping
LCBH Marv legs and sculpted hands (wanted to give him bigger hands with articulation)
Painted the full masked head to give it that shiny leather look
Variant head is Bane's with LCBH Stryker's mouth

How did you keep the waist swivel articulation?

Thanks for all the comments, and Bloodywolf I first cut out the mouth part of the Bane head with and exacto knife. Then I cut strykers mouth out from the nose down. Then I started to shave down stykers face till he fit in the Bane mask.

this is amazing! I don't know how much I inspired you with this, it seems like you took your own idea and ran with it in a fantastic way.
