Cyclops returns in an updated Marvels vs Capcom 2 form using the new Superman Blue base body with a less-wide stance. The bandoleer and various cuffs/straps were hand sculpted using Aves Fixit sculpt and a clear red gem was used in the X-logo on his chest. His head is a cast from the now defunct Black Arachnis site and his optic blast came from the blade of a light-up dollar store sword.
I expect that Jin put the strap is on the left as this is a 1P version of Cyclops from MVC2 who would, naturally, be facing to the right. On MVC2 they cheaped out a little and just mirrored the sprites for whichever direction they were facing, meaning Cyke's chest strap is always on the near side. As ever, fantastic work!
First off, let me say that you are the reason I started doing customs Jin. IMHO there is NOBODY better at it than you and you never cease to amaze us! That being said, I was just wondering why Cyke's strap is on the right side of his body instead of his left. Is this some kind of 'Saotome variant' ? (lol) I find it hard to believe that it was put there by mistake. Looking forward to your next Deadpool through time custom as well.
