Finally I've done a custom sauron!! Here I totally resculpted the face getting rid of the teeth sculpting worry lines on head details on the mouth to blend in the sculpting to the head. I wanted to give it natural look, not a forced look, I also blended the sculpt on to the arms adding circles dots on the apoxie as a way to add some detail to the blending in the apoxie to wing. I also used minni zip ties to secure the wings on the arms. I also added night crawlers tail with some sculpting to blend in the tail to the body. Then finally just full repaint of body using 3 different greens to blend to give him a detailed look. I hope you like him, and as always comments are more than welcomed. Thanks for looking!!

Yeah and Blackheart always seems to look better as anybody else but himself.

THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR COMMENTS, I TRIED MY BEST. BUT THAT WAS ACTUALLY A GOOD IDEA THAT YOU MENTIONED PULPY FICTION, I THINK I'LL TRY THAT OUT ON THE NEXT SAURON. I THINK I'M GOING TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE USING BLACK HEARTS BODY. I APPRECIATE ALL THAT FEEDBACK, BECAUSE IF WE DON'T HELP EACH OTHER WE'RE NEVER GOING TO IMPROVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL. AND HERE ON THE REALM IT'S ALL GOOD AND FRIENDLY!

You know what I saw someone do with this recipe to avoid the problem glenwebman69 mentioned, was rolling the sculpted areas across the texture of the original figures scales. I was surprised by the results and how well it had worked.

The problem I have with most Sauron customs is that the textures of base figure/fodder parts never match the texture of sculpted parts. You have made a brave attempt at marrying the two.

dude, he must be the last character on my mind...U brought him back though.
that looks really realistic and believable...I like the textures, you pulled this off just right. I can't think of one thing to change, the eyes the nose wings head, everything is awesome. maybe some whiter or yellower nails with blood splattered on him...where are the wings from?

I've seen this or similar recipes, but the paint and sculpt push it past. Good stuff.
