Well, finally at the end of my heroic thundercats run. Here he is, Lion-O the mighty lord of the thundercats. I had a bit of a revelation whilst doing him and that is that it is much easier to paint certain parts whilst the figure is in pieces. It also gives much better results. Onto the recipe:

.Swapped Jericho's boots with some off Curt Hawkins.
.Cracked figure open and dismantled 100%, if it would come apart, it did.
.Painted neck, shoulder, hip, ab and ankle joints whilst he was in pieces.
.Cut hair off and shaved off his beard with the good 'ol dremmel.
.Re-assembled the figure minus the head.
.Sculpted clothing and trims of boots with aves fixit. Also filled in gaps created in the cracking open process.
.Covered arm with tin foil then covered tin foil with aves, pushed on vintage claw shield to get the inside shape right. Trimmed off excess and left to dry.
.Reattached head and sculpted hair and a small amount of sculpting to his jaw line to make it look a bit more chiseled.
.Made belt from foam and stuck on a printed picture of the cat symbol.
.Cut blade off sword and made a hilt out of plastic then sculpted over. Stuck on two rubber washers and made the eye from aves.
.Stuck blade back on and sculpted over the bottom of it.
.Painted the whole thing with games workshop paints.

And that's that. Not 100% happy with the sword but I think the rest is among my favourite of my works. I'll be posting some group shots in my WIP thread soon so check em out. Hope you enjoy people and next up the evil mutant team minus Jackalman and Slithe who are already done.
