Well in excitement for finally getting a MOTU classics He-Man re-release (clicking refresh madly on November 16th from matty collector until I did), I had to make my own He-Man to tide me over until it got here.
Using 200k parts, I leaned towards making him look more like that version. I didn't like how young he looked in the 200k version, so I made him look a little older. I love the savage dragon figure, I felt the size and face would fit.
*side note* I think the Savage Dragon head is great for that classic manga look. I want to use the figure to make Ken from Fist of the Northstar (cut off the fin sculpt the right hair and PERFECT!)

Recipe:
head, torso, and upper arms: Savage Dragon. (removed fin, sculpted hair to fit)
lower arms and hands + sculpt to fit: Some jaks wrestler
hips, legs to knees: Marvel Legends series 3 Wolverine
calves and boots: Marvel Legends Sentry
accessories: 2001 He-Man (Torso strappy thingy, fur undies, shield), Original He-man (battle axe + some fashioned leather staps), Legendary Comic Book Heroes Conan (sword stylized into more motu fashion)

Paints: Layered on in flat colours, then dry brushed (for extra umph)

I have some more motu up my sleeves, trying to wrap my head around doing a battle cat though, something new or original parts.
Any thoughts people?
Worst case scenario, I was thinking about combining the original series accessories to the 200k version's body.
Has anybody seen anything like that?

Thanks for the view!

Thanks everybody! I wanted him to be really beafy, I almost used an Akuma torso. I also wanted a serious look on his face. Most of all I wanted real 'posability'. I try to strive for that will all my customs.
I really had a lot of fun with this one, and I don't know if you get what I'm talking about when I say this, but it was one of those customs where I really didn't want to be finished... does that make sense? ; )
Thanks again!
